Our rainbow trout arrive fresh to your table. We offer rainbow trout that were swimming in fresh water just a few hours before. You can taste the difference.
The rainbow trout fillets are hand-filleted on-site at our fish farm.
The pin bones are still present in this fillet, as they can only be removed 3-4 days after filleting. By that time, however, the fish will have long since arrived at your home. The presence of firm pin bones is a quality characteristic indicating freshness.
If the daily sorting allows, we will send the fillet whole. Alternatively, the chosen weight will be supplemented with additional fillets.
